Walla Walla Community College is accepting applications to fill an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF THE WATER & ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER (WEC). This position will fulfill the WEC mission by cultivating and sustaining effective WEC co-locator and external partnerships and implementing and evaluating community and K-12 education programs, special events and site interpretation focused on water, land and natural resource issues and information.

Summary

Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) is accepting applications to fill an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF THE WATER & ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER position on the Walla Walla campus.

This position will fulfill the Water & Environmental Center (WEC) mission by cultivating and sustaining effective WEC co-locator and external partnerships and implementing and evaluating community and K-12 education programs, special events and site interpretation focused on water, land and natural resource issues and information.

Qualifications: Four-year degree in water resources, environmental studies, natural resources, natural sciences, agriculture, or related field; a minimum of one year of experience in designing, preparing, implementing and conducting community education, community events and/or classroom curriculum required.

Annual salary range: $60,000-63,000.
