Summary
This position is located within the University of Idaho, Idaho Falls Center, in collaboration with the UI Department of Natural Resources and Society (NRS), UI Environmental Science Program, and Idaho National Laboratory. The position is an academic year (nine-month), tenure-track faculty position in Energy and Environment at a rank of Assistant Professor with expertise relevant to environmental and/or social dimensions of energy, energy and climate change, sustainable energy systems, energy conservation, policy and economics, or related fields. Candidates should have expertise in developing and applying scientific theory, concepts and methods to the study of interrelationships among energy, environment, and society. This appointment will include responsibilities for teaching/advising (45%), research (45%) and outreach and extension (5%) and service (5%). The position is located at the University campus in Idaho Falls, Idaho with tremendous collaborative potential with the Idaho National Laboratory and various academic and stakeholder partners throughout the state, region, and nation.
