Cape Eleuthera Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1997 to support transformational educational experiences with the mission of leadership effecting change on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. The Foundation’s Philadelphia-based team raises funds to help young people realize their potential, explore academics outside of traditional classroom walls, gain perspective on cultures different than their own and make a positive impact on their world.

Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organized and motivated individual to join our small Philadelphia-based team as the Development Associate. This is a new position and one of three positions reporting to the Director of Development. The Development Associate plays an important role by participating in all fundraising activities including annual campaigns, as well as marketing and communications, prospect research, stewardship, and special events. The Development Associate will work closely with the Communications team to create content about the Foundation’s fundraising priorities and general stewardship. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer and engaging storyteller, able to build authentic connections with current and prospective donors.
