Blue Mountain School seeks an experienced Early Elementary Teacher. We seek a colleague who can work collaboratively, be comfortable in an outdoor classroom; with knowledge of constructivist theory, Reggio Emilia approach, Outdoor Education preferred. Teaching experience is required. Blue Mountain School is a small nonprofit school serving students preschool through middle school in Floyd, Virginia.

Summary

Blue Mountain School seeks an experienced Early Elementary Teacher.

We seek a colleague who can work collaboratively with staff, students and families; and be comfortable in an outdoor Forest Elementary classroom.

Teaching experience is required. Knowledge of Constructivist Theory, Reggio Emilia philosophy, Project Approach learning, and Outdoor Education preferred.
