Education and Volunteer Technician

Larimer County Natural Resources is hiring an Education and Volunteer Technician. Based in Loveland Colorado this term full time position will run from March to October. This position leads education programs for schools, community groups, and general public including assisting with scheduling, marketing and communications as needed. This position also assists with volunteer events through planning, outreach, and in-field supervision of volunteers.

Responsibilities

Specifically, this position:

• Coordinates and supports volunteer project preparation.
• Coordinates and organizes summer campground and trailhead series, including presenting, working with contract presenters, marketing and evaluation.
• Collaborates with Natural Resources staff, outside agencies and schools as appropriate.
• Assists with volunteer naturalist program, training and recognition events.
• Assists communications with information distribution.
• Work independently with volunteers and the public, managing interactions as needed.
• Provides general office support.

$12.50 - $18.00 Hourly
