This farm is operated as a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) and grows produce for consumption at the campus dining. It also provides shares and fresh produce to food banks in central Ohio to serve people in need.

Summary

Seminary Hill Farm is a market-style farm located on the campus of Methodist Theological School in Ohio, in Delaware, about 30 minutes north of the Columbus metropolitan area.  We currently grow food for our campus dining hall, food banks, community-supported agriculture (CSA) program, and local farmers’ markets.  We grow in two passive solar hoop houses, 13 caterpillar tunnels and 10 acres of field production.  Seminary Hill Farm is a reflection of MTSO’s commitment to a just, sustainable and generative world.

Internships available between March 1 and November 12, 2022.  Start and end dates are flexible, oriented to spring, summer, and fall sessions.

Interns will work and get paid for 40 hour weeks ($12/hour, no overtime) while participating in all aspects of day-to-day farm work:

  • Seeding, seedling and transplant production, planting and maintenance of fruit and vegetable crops
