Middle School Science and Math Teacher

Jemicy School educates talented and bright college-bound students with dyslexia or other related language-based learning differences. Our Lower & Middle School is seeking an experienced educator to assume a full-time position teaching middle school science and math for the 2022-2023 school year. Applicants should be highly creative, passionate, and dynamic education professionals able to create authentic learning experiences with ease, have the ability to meet individual student needs, and be adept at employing an inquiry-based, experiential teaching approach to support a broad range of student learning styles.  

A bachelor’s degree in secondary education, special education, physics, chemistry, mathematics, or a closely related field, with 3 to 5 years of teaching experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience, is required. Additionally, the ideal candidate would have the ability and willingness to coach an athletic team and/or lead a club, must have strong interpersonal skills, and be committed to developing successful learners, prepared for careers of the 21st century.
