Under the direction of the park manager or other supervisor, performs all duties necessary for the daily maintenance of park properties, areas, buildings, and facilities, and to help with the construction of certain park improvement projects. Graduation from a high school or GED required. Specialized training in park and grounds maintenance preferred. Valid Ohio driver license with clear driving record.

Summary

Park Technician I (Sand Run Metro Park)

The park technician I maintains and enhances the park district's lands and facilities by performing unskilled and semi-skilled jobs in a manner which assures the highest standard of maintenance, safety and service to the public. The ideal candidate has the desire to help maintain and provide quality park experiences for our community, enjoys working outside and has some experience maintaining grounds and facilities. This position offers individuals training opportunities and the potential of future full-time opportunities.
