Two Trails Technician positions will be filled from May through September 2022. Duties include cutting grass, trimming trees/shrubs, invasive species control, maintaining the nature center grounds and trail system, constructing and maintaining trail signs, boardwalks and bridges. May operate heavy or light equipment and assist with maintenance and repair.

Two Trails Technician positions will be filled from May through September 2022. Duties include cutting grass, trimming trees/shrubs, invasive species control, maintaining the nature center grounds and trail system, constructing and maintaining trail signs, boardwalks and bridges. May operate heavy or light equipment and assist with maintenance and repair.

Successful applicants should possess self-motivation and a commitment to quality work. Good communications skills desired. A background in natural resources is helpful. Must be at least 18 years old and have valid drivers license. Must have the ability to lift items of 50lbs or more several times per shift. The position is 40 hours/week, Tuesday-Friday, with some evening and weekend hours.
