Summary

Practice your leadership skills while creatively inspiring young people to engage with the natural world around us. The seasonal environmental educator position is responsible for working closely with full time naturalists to plan and lead eight week-long summer day camps for children ages 5-13. Activities include hiking, stream exploration, canoeing, songs, games, nature journaling, creative projects, and more. Responsible for communicating with staff and parents/guardians about camp logistics, camper medical needs, and disciplinary concerns. A positive and outgoing attitude, strong teamwork skills, and flexibility are required. This position falls under the Child Protection Services Law and requires applicant to pass background checks and screenings.
