Summary
Hidden Villa’s full-time, residential internship is our most in-depth place-based, experiential program for young, emerging leaders (generally ages 19 to 26) who are in the process of discovering the work they want to do. Interns will experiment with learning the values and skills of environmental and hands-on farm and garden education directly with our Education Programs Team, serving field trip groups of grades PK-12th.
- Lead day-long or multi-day Hidden Villa Education Programs
- Develop and implement curriculum for 8-week, 2-3 hour Covey Education Program
- Collaborate with fellow interns, teachers, managers, coordinators, volunteers, and parents to create a positive, inclusive environment for our participants
- Participate in Hidden Villa meetings, community programs, and donor events
- Perform daily animal chores
- Attend weekly educational training workshops
- Co-create a life-giving communal living atmosphere by completing your weekly, rotating household chores and participating in weekly, mandatory house meetings
