The Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation is seeking a qualified Program Manager to fill a new position with our Kids in Parks program. The ideal candidate will understand how nature play, outdoor exploration, and outdoor recreation improves the overall health and wellbeing of kids, families, and communities, and be able to effectively communicate that value to program participants, park partners, healthcare organizations, community leaders, and state officials.
The South Carolina Program Manager will work collaboratively with park managers, healthcare providers, and like-minded community organizations to identify opportunities for, and oversee the statewide expansion of, the Kids in Parks program’s TRACK Trail and TRACK Rx initiatives. These duties include: coordinating regional stakeholder meetings, forming official partnerships with park agencies and healthcare organizations, conducting on-site meetings with public land managers and healthcare providers, developing graphic materials (trailhead signs, self-guided brochures, etc.), and promoting/marketing the program throughout the state.

Salary: $42,000 per year + amazing benefits
