GenWild participants (called Corpsmembers) serve together as part of the Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) Generation Wild Initiative which aims to connect kids and families to the outdoors. Corpsmemers plan and conduct outreach, education, and recreation activities, complete land stewardship projects on public lands in Northeast Metro Denver, and lead environmental education workshops for kids.

Summary

Join us for our 2022 Fall Environmental Education & Stewardship Crew as part of the Generation Wild (GenWild) program! The GenWild crew is a team-based, 10 week-long program (September 12, 2022 – November 18, 2022) for individuals between the ages 18-24. GenWild participants (called Corpsmembers) serve together as part of the Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) Generation Wild Initiative which aims to connect kids and families to the outdoors. Corpsmemers plan and conduct outreach, education, and recreation activities, complete land stewardship projects on public lands in Northeast Metro Denver, and lead environmental education workshops for kids. This means, get paid $960 biweekly while doing what you love and earn a scholarship at the same time!

Timeline:

  • September 12, 2022 – November 18, 2022
  • Schedules of approximately 40-hours per week will be arranged upon hire.
  • Candidates should expect a standard Monday-Friday schedule during the service term
