This position assists the Director of Sales and Marketing with developing an annual marketing plan and holds primary responsibility for executing that plan.

What You Will Do:

This position assists the Director of Sales and Marketing with developing an annual marketing plan and holds primary responsibility for executing that plan. They report to the Chief Development Officer and will report to the National Director of Communications when hired.

This position is fully remote for a candidate living near one of our established campuses in the Seattle or San Francisco Bay Area. 

Your primary job will be to:

  • Marketing & Communications: Collaborates with the Director of Communications and Director of Sales and Marketing to build multi-channel marketing plans that raise brand awareness and meet sales and fundraising goals. 
  • Internal Communications: Coordinates internally with NatureBridge staff to learn about and communicate news, and proactively engages NatureBridge staff to capture relevant, high-impact stories to attract and engage target audiences.
  • Social Media Management, Strategy & Reporting: Develops, ideates and schedules social media content; manages a rich content calendar and social media guide; continually improves NatureBridge’s engagement on social media and other online networks.
  • Email Marketing: Implements creative and tactical aspects of email campaigns and monthly newsletter, including automation set-up, template design, copywriting, design, testing and deployment
  • Digital Asset Database: Manages storage and organization of all digital assets (photos, videos, audio, logos) & finds appropriate media to use in collateral, website, etc.
  • Creative Content Development: Regularly write, edit, format, post and promote engaging and informative blogs articles; support other departments with copy editing
  • Website Management: Works with staff across NatureBridge to build and update website using Drupal, NatureBridge’s CMS; Manages website style guide; Liaises with vendors 
  • Additional Duties:
    • Conducts media and government relations, including maintaining comprehensive targeted media lists, writing talking points, speeches, news releases and op-ed pieces
    • Manages Communications and About Us portions of the NatureBridge Intranet
    • Assists in tracking, managing and reporting on budget and spending
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Compensation:

  • $53,000-$57,000 annually
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance

Who You Are:

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Demonstrated track record for understanding how Creative drives business performance.
  • Skilled in the Adobe Suite—Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
  • Keen eye for articulating messages and pairing them with compelling images.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from different departments, primarily using email and phone.
  • Commitment to NatureBridge's mission, as well as equity and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Understanding of key NatureBridge priorities and programs.
  • Ability to articulate messages that will resonate with our philanthropic and sales prospects.
  • Efficiency and a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing or shifting priorities.
  • Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office applications.
