Nature Explorers Summer Camp Staff

Nature Explorers Summer Camp: This position requires a creative educator who enjoys sharing the wonders of nature with children, with strong leadership and inclusion skills to meet the diverse needs of children at camp.   

Responsibilities: Create a fun, safe and supportive environment for children to explore, imagine, play and learn. Plan and lead camp activities in collaboration with other camp staff. Support children with diverse needs to participate in camp activities. Carry out both planned and emergent curriculum. Set up and clean up for daily activities. Maintain materials and equipment. Administer first aid as needed.

Qualifications: Relevant teaching experience. Compassionate, enthusiastic, friendly, patient, flexible and creative when working with children and adults. Experience supporting and meeting the diverse needs of children in the camp setting. Knowledge of and passion for the natural world. Ability to work independently and with a team. Ability to work outdoors, in variable weather conditions. Reliable and professional.
